Washing instructions

Detach the wooden teething ring before washing

  • Wash in cold water: Heat can damage or melt the delicate polyester fibers, which will cause the plush fabric to lose its signature softness.

  • Use the gentle cycle: A gentle or delicate cycle minimizes agitation, which helps preserve the integrity of the blanket's pile.

  • Choose a mild detergent: Opt for a gentle, dye-free, and fragrance-free detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals and bleach.

  • Do not use fabric softener: This is a critical step. Fabric softener leaves a residue that coats the fibers and can make the material feel stiff and matted over time, completely defeating the purpose of a soft blanket.

  • Wash separately: For the best results, wash your cuddle blanket alone or with other minky items. This prevents other fabrics from abrading the plush surface and collecting lint.

      Drying instructions

  • Air dry is best: The most recommended method is to hang the blanket to air dry, which protects the fibers from any heat damage.

  • Use no heat in the dryer: If you must use a dryer, select the "air fluff" or "no heat" setting. Even a low heat setting can cause damage to the polyester fibers.

  • Avoid dryer sheets: Just like fabric softener, dryer sheets contain waxes that can gum up the fibers. For best results, simply skip them.Use dryer balls (optional): To help maintain the blanket's fluffiness and speed up drying, you can add a few clean dryer balls or tennis balls to the cycle.
